Emergency situations can disrupt, cause confusion and result in injury or death. In these situations, proper procedures are often forgotten. Such emergencies may consist of violence, accidents, health issues, severe weather, earthquakes, or an intruder on site.
CareHawk’s systems allow for automated local security alerts, district wide alerts, security detection, video and audio surveillance, and integration with other low voltage systems such as fire, security, and access control.
Communicate emergency situations fast and clear anywhere on the campus. Users can create specific tones and voice messages for each emergency situation, such as a tornado warning. Obtain the same level of safety, independent of staff on duty of staff experience. You can pre-record emergency instructions in a calm, clear and concise voice. Trigger these messages from security sensors, telephone codes, cell phones, or from a button push. Messages can automatically repeat. In case of a danger or hazard such as a fire, exit instruction can change based upon the location of the fire, as detected by the fire alarm system.

Video surveillance systems are extensively used today in schools. Unfortunately they tend to be relegated to exterior doors and hallways. Most video systems end up being used for review after an incident for evidence rather than as a tool in early warning.
